Our apps are built to be private by default. What you create stays on your device, there are no accounts, and we do not track you across apps or websites. Some apps measure how the app itself is used — never what you write.

Who we are

Sirek Apps ("we", "us") is a software studio based in Gdańsk, Poland, and is the data controller for the limited processing described here. You can reach us at contact@sirekapps.com.

This policy covers every iOS app we publish. Where a section describes something only some apps do, it says so — an app that has no such feature simply does none of it.

What we collect

We do not require an account, and we do not collect personal information on our own servers — we don't operate any. The data you create in an app is stored locally on your device by iOS. Depending on the app, this can include:

The content you enter — the entries, dates, names and notes an app is built to keep for you.
Goals and personal figures you choose to provide, such as a body weight.
Your in-app preferences, like reminders and appearance settings.

This information stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud account. It is otherwise shared only through the optional services described below, each of which you control.

iCloud sync

If you're signed in to iCloud, an app may sync your data across your devices using Apple's iCloud (CloudKit), stored in your private iCloud account. This data is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to it and cannot read it. You can turn syncing off per app in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud.

Apple Health

Some of our apps can read from or write to Apple Health. Where they do, it is always opt-in, the app asks before any access, and it requests only the specific data types it needs to do the job you asked for. Apps without a health feature never touch it.

This data is exchanged directly between the app and Apple Health on your device. We never receive it. You can review or revoke access at any time in the iOS Health app under Sharing → Apps.

Product lookups

Some of our apps look something up in a public third-party database — for example, a barcode in Open Food Facts. Where that happens, only the search term itself is sent, never personal information, and the request is answered and forgotten rather than stored against you. The third party's handling of it is governed by its own privacy policy. Apps that need no lookup make no such request.

Subscriptions & purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Payments and billing are handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card details.

We use RevenueCat to manage and verify purchases, whether that is a subscription or a one-off unlock. RevenueCat processes a device-level purchase identifier on our behalf so the app knows what you have bought. It does not receive your name or contact details. This is the only third-party service that processes data on our behalf.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server and do not collect a device push token.

Analytics & tracking

We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA). There is no advertising in any of our apps. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

Some of our apps do measure how the app itself is used — which screens are reached, which features are tapped, whether a purchase happened. That is product analytics, and it is deliberately thin: an app-generated random identifier that is not the IDFA and is not linked to any account, the device model, OS version, language, timezone and App Store country, and, where an install came from an Apple Search Ads campaign, Apple's own attribution token. It tells us whether a feature is used. It does not tell us who you are.

What is never measured is content. Nothing you type, paste, photograph or receive is put into an analytics event — not a message, not a rewrite, not a quoted phrase, not a screenshot. Where an app returns an opinion on text you provide, the analytics record that a check happened and what the verdict was, never the words.

Text you send for an opinion

Some of our apps take a message you paste in and return an opinion about it. To do that, the text is sent once to an AI model provider (currently OpenAI) to be read, and their answer comes back. We do not store the message, we do not log it, and it is not attached to an account — there is no account. The provider holds it briefly under their own terms for abuse monitoring, tied to nothing that identifies you, and we have asked them not to train on it.

What you paste is up to you. Please do not paste anything you are not entitled to share, and remember that a message you paste may contain another person's personal information — theirs as well as yours. Where an app reads a screenshot of a conversation, that reading happens on your phone and the image is never uploaded.

Anything the app gives back — the verdict, the scores, the rewrites — is generated automatically and can be wrong. It is a second opinion, not advice, and what you do with it is your decision. Section 9 of our Terms of Use covers this.

Sharing your data

We do not sell or share your personal data, and we never will. The only data that leaves your device is described above — barcode lookups, and purchase verification via Apple and RevenueCat — each in service of a feature you choose to use.

Keeping & deleting your data

You are in control. You can remove content within each app, and deleting an app removes its on-device data. If iCloud sync is on, you can also remove an app's iCloud data in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. Samples written to Apple Health are managed in the Health app and are not removed by deleting our app.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the GDPR gives you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing. Because your data is held on your own device rather than by us, you can exercise most of these directly in the app and in iOS settings.

For anything else, contact contact@sirekapps.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our apps evolve. We'll revise the "last updated" date above, and significant changes will be reflected here.
